CHICAGO (CBS) – South Side residents really do have more power outages than those on the North Side.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports, the 3rd Ward had 157,000 customer hours without power in 2011
Fifteen wards with the fewest number of outages on are on the North Side.
Com-Ed says the North Side has more underground cables, while the South Side has old-fashioned, above-ground connections.
