Weather To Take Turn For Worse Later In Week

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Scattered showers for the rest of today will give way to a nice, warm, sunny Thursday--but that won't last into the weekend.

Today's cloudy skies, with temperatures in the 60s, and tomorrow's mid-70s will be the last temperate days for a while.

A strong cold front will move in and drop temperatures 20 degrees on Friday and through the weekend.

CBS 2's Megan Glaros says the falling temps will be joined by strong breezes from the north.

Lows over the weekend will fall into the 30s near the city and the 20s in some suburbs.
