Cold Front To Bring Big Temperature Swing

CHICAGO (CBS) – A cold front bearing down on Chicago will send temperatures plummeting on Friday.

Thursday afternoon will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the 70s. Scattered rain showers are expected during the early evening hours.

Then, Chicagoans can expect a big temperature swing, with highs on Friday in the 50s.

Strong winds will also come with the cold front.

Similar temperatures are expected over the weekend under partly sunny skies.

Normal highs for this time of year are in the upper 60s.
