Crisp, Clear Days Ahead For Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — A chilly, cloudless day greeted Chicagoans on Wednesday, and fall colors are nearing the peak stage.

The clear skies will be nice for fall foliage viewing and temperatures will warm up into the 60s on Thursday–after a chilly evening when temperatures will be in the 30s.

The average high for this time of year is the upper 60s or low 70s.

A warmup continues into the weekend, with highs approaching 70, CBS 2’s Megan Glaros reports

However, rain is possible on both Saturday and Sunday.
