(WSCR) Bears cornerback Charles Tillman earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance last Sunday against the Jaguars.
Tillman made four tackles and returned an interception 36 yards for a touchdown, as the Bears destroyed the Jaguars, 41-3. This was the second straight week in which Tillman returned an interception for a touchdown.
Lance Briggs also returned an interception for a touchdown for the second time in as many weeks.
Tillman, in his 10th season with the Bears, holds the club record for most defensive touchdowns with eight.
