(WSCR) Let’s just say some members of the Spanish Olympic basketball team took their 107-100 loss to the United States in the gold medal game at the London Olympics pretty hard.
According to a report, members of the Spanish national team trashed their London hotel rooms after the game back in August.
The team reportedly caused an estimated $14,400 worth of damages to two hotel rooms.
“The leaving parties are usually a regular thing when players finish a tournament,” the Spanish Basketball Federation said. “After living together for six weeks, preparing and competing, they have it. But it has never led to this.”
