CHICAGO (STMW) — Two men were hurt in a drive-by shooting late Friday in the Northwest Side Hermosa neighborhood.
The shooting happened about 11:50 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Kedvale Avenue and left two 23-year-olds with gunshot wounds to the ankle, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
They were walking down the street when people in a passing white-colored vehicle started shouting gang slogans, then opened fire, Greer said. Both men were taken in good condition to Norwegian-American Hospital.
Area North detectives are investigating, but no one is in custody early Saturday.
