Bears Release Chris Williams
(CBS) The Bears have released former first-round pick Chris Williams.
The Bears selected the offensive tackle with the 14th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
In five seasons with the Bears, Williams started in 38 games. This season, however, he's yet to start a game, appearing in only three.
The Bears also announced they have re-signed cornerback Zack Bowman.
