Long Grove Man Killed In I-90 Crash
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (STMW) -- A Long Grove man was killed in a six-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway in the northwest suburbs.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of the tollway (I-90) near Arlington Heights Road, Illinois State Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said. At least four passenger vehicles and one box truck were involved.
The crash occurred about 9:13 a.m., about a mile from the Des Plaines Oasis, Bond said.
Michael Raymond, 60, of the 1500 block of Dawn Court in Long Grove, was killed in the crash, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. He was taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village where he was pronounced dead at 9:43 a.m.
State Police were not releasing further details about the crash Tuesday evening.
