(WSCR) Meet “George in Nashua.”
George had an interview lined up later this week with ESPN affiliate WGAM The Game in New Hampshire. That is, until he called into the midday show with Christian and King to express his thoughts on Tom Brady and the Patriots.
George went on and on about how washed up Brady was, regardless of the numbers he continues to post week in and week out. The caller was adamant that the Patriots move on from the three-time Super Bowl champion.
“I’m going to tell you something right now about all you geeks that (like to focus on numbers,)” George said on the radio. “I’m 55 years old and I grew up in the Dan Marino era. Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Jim Kelly. 400 yards a game, every game, right? How many Super Bowls did those guys win? None. … So Brady got 400 yards yesterday, big deal.”
After the call, the GM at WGAM in New Hampshire sent George a friendly email thanking him for his interest, but informing him he would no longer need to come in for an interview.
Nice work, George.
