White Sox Lower Ticket, Parking Prices For 2013

(WSCR) After disappointing attendance numbers in 2012, the White Sox are lowering ticket and parking prices for the 2013 season.

According to an email from the White Sox, with the exception of Opening Day and the two home games against the Cubs, corner seats in the lower deck will be available for $20, and upper deck corner seats will go for $7 for all home games. Roughly 5,000 tickets per game will be available at the these prices.

In addition, across the park, parking will be lowered to $20, from $25 and $23.

More than 87 percent of season tickets will stay the same or drop in price, and 54 percent of full season tickets will drop an average of 26 percent. Bleacher and Outfield Reserved sections will drop 32 and 30 percent, respectively, for full season packages.

The White Sox spent the majority of the 2012 season in first place, yet failed to draw two million fans for the first time since 2004.
