(WSCR) Hurricane Sandy is expected to make landfall today and the East Coast is on alert.

As residents take cover, it appears Larry Horse has gotten loose. The longtime Boers & Bernstein mascot was spotted running around the streets of Washington D.C. Monday morning.

The local NBC station caught it all on camera during a live report:

The entire Boers & Bernstein Show staff would like to send out our prayers to everyone on East Coast — including Larry — as we hope everyone is safe as the storm approaches.
