Two Wounded In West Pullman Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) — A man and woman were critically injured in a West Pullman shooting Tuesday night on the Far South Side.

The 18-year-olds were shot about 7 p.m. in the 600 block of West 122nd Street, said police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala, citing preliminary information.

The man was shot in the head and the woman was shot somewhere on the body, police said.

Fire Media Affairs spokeswoman Meg Ahlheim said paramedics took both of the wounded to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.

Authorities said the man had gang affiliations.
