CHICAGO (CBS) – Who’s going to win the presidential election?
Sources say the winner will be…
Well, let’s bury the lead for a moment.
“Sources” in this case is Chuck Giovenco, general manager of Fantasy Costumes, who says the candidate’s Halloween mask that sells the best wins the race.
“During the beginning of the month, we were selling a lot more of the Romney masks,” Giovenco said.
Then…
“Over the last week I’ve seen a few more of the Obamas going out, over the Romneys.”
We of course pressed our source for more.
“If I had to give a tally I’d say Romney is still probably in the lead by a few pieces. But it’s very close.”
Giovenco says the shop has correctly picked the winner going back at least six elections.
