CHICAGO (CBS) — A North Shore woman is suing a realty company because of what she says happened during an open house.

Lena Katamanin says last April Prudential Rubloff held an open house at her Sheridan Road home in Highland Park.

Afterwards, she says, more than $162,000 worth of her jewelry was gone.

It was stolen, she says, during the showing.

At the time, she says, the realty company had sole control over the home, and her lawsuit alleges negligence and carelessness.

She’s asking for unspecified damages.

There was no immediate comment from the real estate company.
