Pippen To Make Theatre Debut In ‘A Christmas Carol’

(WSCR) He’s dominated the basketball world, so why not try his hand in the theatre?

Bulls legend Scottie Pippen will make his theatre debut at the Goodman Theatre on Dec. 14 in ‘A Christmas Carol.’

Pippen will perform along side La’Ren Kimble, a 7-year-old beneficiary of the Illinois Make-A-Wish program.

“I’m excited to step on a different stage of sorts, and look forward to being part of what has been a Chicago holiday tradition for so many years,” Pippen said. “But what’s most important for me is being able to work alongside my co-star, La’Ren, and Make-A-Wish Illinois. I hear La’Ren is an aspiring actress, and I’ll do my best to make her and the cast of ‘A Christmas Carol’ proud.
