Roseland Man Killed In Robbins Shooting

ROBBINS, Ill. (STMW) — A Roseland neighborhood man was killed in a shooting in south suburban Robbins early Saturday.

Brandon K. Bibbs, 29, was fatally shot near 135th Street and Monticello Avenue in Robbins, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Bibbs, of the 10100 block of South LaSalle Street, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead at 1:47 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

Robbins police were not immediately available for comment.
