(WSCR) Things keep getting worse for the Ditka family.
Days after former Bears coach Mike Ditka suffered a minor stroke, his son, Mark, was sent to Lake County Jail after failing to convince a judge that the opiate prosecutors said was found in his system during a drug test was prescribed by a doctor.
According to a report, Judge Brian Hughes raised the bond amount for the younger Ditka, who is awaiting trial on his fourth DUI charge, from $25,000 to $50,000.
The younger Ditka claims the positive test came from Vicodin prescribed by a doctor in December 2010 and November 2011.
