Girl, 15, Injured In Chicago Lawn Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) – A 15-year-old girl was seriously hurt in a shooting in the Southwest Side Chicago Lawn neighborhood Monday night.
The girl was shot about 9:15 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Campbell Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss said.
She was shot in the back and was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Purkiss said.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives begin their investigation.
