CHICAGO (STMW) – A 16-year-old boy was shot three times Wednesday afternoon in the Northwest Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.
The shooting happened about 3:48 p.m. in the 4200 block of West Wabansia Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in “stable” condition with gunshot wounds to the abdomen, hip, and knee, O’Brien said.
No one is in custody, and Area North detectives are investigating.
