CHICAGO (CBS) — A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 8 a.m. for the Chicago area on Monday.

Visibility in many locations is less than one quarter mile.

The dense fog will make traveling by car or air very challenging through the mid morning hours. Persons who must travel should plan accordingly.

As of 6 a.m., 30 flights have been canceled at O’Hare and 3 at Midway. Air travelers should also expect flight delays of around 15 minutes.
