(WSCR) The good news keeps coming for the Illinois basketball team.

Fresh off the team’s 85-74 victory over then-No. 10 Gonzaga on Saturday, senior guard Brandon Paul has been named Big Ten Player of the Week after scoring 35 points in the win.

Paul shot 10-of-16 from the field while also contributing four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks.
