Ryan Lochte: 'I Think Phelps Will Be Back For Rio'

(WSCR) Decorated Olympian Michael Phelps claims he's swam his last Olympic race.

The 27-year-old Phelps announced his retirement after becoming the most decorated Olympian of all time by winning his 22nd medal in London last summer. Phelps also holds the all-time record for gold medals with 18.

But will he come out of retirement for the Rio games in 2016?

Ryan Lochte seems to think so.

"Michael Phelps says he's retired," Lochte said. "The sport will miss him, he is one of my favorite rivals and I will miss him. But I think he will come back. When you do something for so long every day … He's still young. I think he will be back for Rio.

"We'll see, he'll miss the sport."
