CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was killed and a teen girl wounded after they were shot Monday night on the West Side.
The shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of West Superior Street in the Austin neighborhood.
The two victimes were sitting in a car when two men walked up and one of the men fired shots at the vehicle.
Sherman Horton, 38, was shot in the armpit and was pronounced dead at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park.
The 17-year-old girl suffered a graze wound and is in good condition.
