Report: Illini's Spence To Declare For NFL Draft
(WSCR) Foregoing his senior season, Illini defensive tackle Akeem Spence will enter the 2013 NFL Draft, according to a report.
The third-year starter ranked third for the Illini this season with 72 tackles. He also had seven tackles for loss, one sack and a forced fumble.
NFLDraftScout.com ranks Spence as the No. 9 defensive tackle and the No. 90 player overall.
