(WSCR) It’s safe to say that heading into Week 16, this is not where the Bears envisioned they’d be.
After a 7-1 start, the Bears are now 8-6 and on the outside looking in at the NFC playoff picture.
As the team prepares to take on a depleted Cardinals team in Arizona on Sunday, one NFL expert said this game should be no problem at all for the Bears.
“Let’s be honest,” former NFLer Matt Bowen told The Mully and Hanley Show. “Where we’re at in this season, the Bears need two wins and some help to get in. If you’re a player for this Bears football team right now, you should be confident. You should be ready to play. You should pound this team when you go out there. You really should. This shouldn’t be a football game. I know it’s the NFL and I know crazy stuff can happen, but when you’re in this situation as a player, you should start fast, you should put them away early and you should feel comfortable with 5-7 minutes left in that fourth quarter that you played well enough to win that game.”
