Woman Shot In Face Outside Pilsen Pizzeria

CHICAGO (STMW) — A man and a woman were hurt, one critically, in a shooting outside a pizzeria in the Pilsen neighborhood early Sunday.
The shooting occurred outside Benny’s Pizza, 1244 W. 18th St., about 20 minutes after midnight, authorities said.
The woman was in critical condition after she was shot in the face, said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer. It is unclear where she was taken for treatment.
The man was shot in the arm and was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody early Sunday as Area Central detectives investigated.
