(WSCR) Bears Pro Bowl defensive tackle Henry Melton made headlines Wednesday when he specifically called out Lions center Dominic Raiola.
“He’s old and he just talks,” Melton said. “He’s more just cuss words, bad language. Then he’ll throw some cheap shots in there and then he’ll say some bad words.”
Raiolo, who is no stranger to the media, heard Melton’s comments and was rather outspoken in his criticisms of Melton.
“He made it to the Pro Bowl? This guy made the Pro Bowl?” said Raiola of Melton. “He made the Pro Bowl? Come on. You got a defense full of superstars and you don’t hear from the guys that carry weight in my book. This guy?”
Raiola also said both Kevin Williams and Ndamukong Suh are more deserving of Pro Bowl selections than Melton.
