(CBS) Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher returned to practice on a limited basis Friday at Halas Hall.

It’s unclear whether or not Urlacher will play Sunday when the Bears take on the Lions in Detroit. He could instead be eying a return in a potential playoff game next weekend.

Urlacher suffered a hamstring injury against the Seattle Seahawks Dec. 2 and has missed the last three games. Nick Roach has filled in well at the position while Urlacher has been out.
