Suspect Sought In Lincoln Park Hair Salon Robberies

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man robbed two hair salons a block apart this weekend in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

The suspect entered the hair salons, placed a duffle bag on the counter, showed a handgun and announced a robbery, according to a community alert from Area Central detectives.

The robberies occurred at 5:40 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of West Fullerton, and 5 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of West Fullerton, the alert said.

The suspect is described as a white Hispanic man with a light complexion, 30-35, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7, and 150-165 pounds, the alert said. He was last seen wearing a red jacket and gray skull cap.
