Fab Melo Suffers Concussion After Bumping Head On Doorway

(WSCR) Duck next time, Fab.

Celtics rookie Fab Melo reportedly suffered a concussion last week when he bumped his head on a doorway at a hotel in Sioux Falls.

The 7-foot center was staying in Sioux Falls with the Maine Red Claws, the Celtics’ D-League affiliate, for two games, but the Celtics recalled him early so team physicians could examine him.

“I still have a little headache,” Melo said this week. “Sometimes I can’t really focus on something for a long time, that’s it.”
