Man Walking His Dog Shot On West Side

CHICAGO (CBS) — He was walking his dog when he was gunned down on Chicago’s West Side.

The 50-year-old man was shot in the leg and stomach.

It happened last night in the 1800 block of West 19th Street–in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood.

A gunman approached the man and started shooting.

The victim was transported to Stroger hospital in serious condition.

Police could not confirm whether the dog was injured in the attack.
