(CBS/AP) – The Philadelphia Eagles have interviewed Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly for their head coaching position, and there are reports the Chicago Bears might be interested in Kelly as well.
The Associated Press reported a person familiar with the meeting said Kelly met with the Eagles on Tuesday, a day after losing the BCS Championship game to Alabama.
The Eagles have interviewed six candidates for their head coaching vacancy after firing Andy Reid last month, and plan to meet with four others.
Kelly recently called coaching Notre Dame his dream job, but he wouldn’t be the first to explore his options perhaps even to get a raise to stay put.
The Bears might also be interested in interviewing Kelly to replace Lovie Smith as head coach.
CBS Sports writer Jason La Canforna tweeted the Bears are interested in Kelly

But the Chicago Tribune’s Dan Pompei said reports of the Bears’ interest in Kelly aren’t true.
