Local Children's Choir To Perform At Inauguration
The Soul Children's Choir of Chicago has a special place to fill in the presidential inauguration. Director Walt Whitman says his 68 singers, ages seven to 17, are preparing their gospel-arrangements.
"It is going to be very interactive, so it is not going to be people sitting and looking, it is going to be really more engaged," said Whitman. "There is not telling what will happen in that arena since there will be so much excitement in that arena."
The performance in Washington scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19.
