Chiefs Hire Dave Toub As Special Teams Coordinator

(CBS) The Kansas City Chiefs have hired Dave Toub to be their next special teams coordinator, the team announced Tuesday afternoon.

After nine seasons with the Bears, Toub will join newly-minted Chiefs head coach Andy Reid in Kansas City.

While in Chicago, Toub’s special teams unit ranked in the top 10 in comprehensive special teams in eight of his nine seasons.

Toub was one of 13 candidates originally interviewed by general manager Phil Emery for the Bears head coaching position.
