Bengals Player Arrested For Bringing Gun To Airport

(CBS) - The Cincinnati Bengals are making headlines again for all the wrong reasons.

According to a report from NFL.com, right tackle Andre Smith was arrested for allegedly bringing a gun to an Atlanta airport.

The report indicates Smith appeared in court Friday morning where his bond was set at $3,000. He was later released on bond and is scheduled to reappear on Feb. 4 for a preliminary hearing.

Smith is slated to become a free agent this offseason.
