(CBS) – According to phone records, Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o and the person pretending to be his girlfriend, Lennay Kekua, spent hours on the phone over a four-month period.
ESPN’s Jeremy Schaap first produced the report.
The report indicates the following:
- 1,000 calls were made to and from Te’o's phone to a 661 area code
- The 661 phone number supposedly belonged to Kekua
- 110 of those calls were more than 60 minutes in length
