(CBS) - So, who really is America’s Team?
The people of Facebook combed through data from over 35 million users to create the most detailed chart of NFL fandom to date.
While sifting through profiles, Facebook looked at account holders in the United States who have “Liked” a page for one of the 32 teams in the league. The end result is a color-coded map showing exactly where each team’s fandom lies.
As you can see, the Bears dominate most of Illinois, with the exception of a small sector of south west Illinois, which roots for the Rams. The Bears also own a small contingency in New Mexico, likely due to the popularity of Brian Urlacher, who attended college at the University of New Mexico.
