CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago police are investigating two robberies early Wednesday morning that may have been committed by the same man.

Authorities say a 7-11 store along the 2200 block of North Lincoln Avenue was robbed just after 2 a.m.

An hour later, a Dunkin’ Donuts shop in the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue was also robbed.

He is described as a man in his 30s who wore dark clothing and wielded a handgun, adding that the man took off with an unknown amount of cash.
