Man Charged With DUI After Crash Hurt Two Cops

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Police say a man is charged with DUI after rear-ending an unmarked police vehicle on the South Side.

Two Chicago police officers were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition after that accident near 75th and Western.

Police say it was about 8:40 in the evening when the car crashed into the unmarked police vehicle.

47-year-old Christopher Slotwinski of Chicago is charged with a string of misdemeanors, including DUI - alcohol in this case, reckless driving, having no insurance, driving too fast for conditions and driving on a suspended license.
