(CBS) As the Bears continue to evaluate talent at the NFL Scouting Combine, the team will meet with Alabama offensive lineman D.J. Fluker on Friday night.
The 6-5, 339-pound Fluker was projected to go to the Bears with the 20th pick in the NFL Draft by draft guru Mel Kiper Jr.
Fluker met with the media Friday afternoon and said he looks forward to knocking down a defensive player “every single play.”
“Any team that wants to win a championship, any team that wants to win on every Sunday, that’s the type of team that I want to go to,” he told the Tribune. “The team that has the attitude, ‘I will not be denied.’ The guys that want to go out there and actually work hard, actually want to do something special — win a Super Bowl, win a championship — that’s the type of team that I want to be a part of.”
