Dennis Rodman To Kim Jong Un: ‘You Have A Friend For Life’

(CBS) By all accounts, Dennis Rodman seems to be enjoying his trip to North Korea.

Rodman, as you remember, ventured to the Communist country with Vice Productions as the company films a series that will debut on HBO in April.

On Thursday, Rodman caught a basketball game with dictator Kim Jong Un. The two sat together and watched members of the Harlem Globetrotters take on the North Korean “dream team.”

As we learned yesterday, Kim Jong Un is a huge Rodman fan. And today, it appears the feelings are mutual.

“You have a friend for life,” Rodman told Kim before a crowd of thousands at a gymnasium where they sat side by side, chatting as they watched players from North Korea and the U.S. play, Alex Detrick, a spokesman for the New York-based VICE media company, told The Associated Press.

I’m sure life appears will in N.K. when you’re fed 5 course meals, entertainment and alcohol but unfortunatley I wonder what Rodman’s “Peace and Love” mentality would be if he removed ignorance and realized Kim is starving millions of his own people in the name of misguided ideology.
