(WSCR) You can’t really blame Wizards TV announcer Steve Buckhantz.
With seconds left in last night’s Wizards-Pistons game, Washington trailed Detroit, 96-95.
As the Wizards set up a play for one last shot, Trevor Ariza lined up along the baseline.
Ariza’s shot at the buzzer hit only the net and appeared to be the game-winning shot.
Buckhantz immediately began celebrating the win, until he realized the shot was, in fact, a complete airball.
