(CBS) According to court documents obtained by TMZ, NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan is being sued by a woman who claims he fathered her 16-year-old son.
In a suit filed in Fulton County, Ga. on Feb. 6, Pamela Smith claims she became pregnant after having sex with Jordan in 1995 and later gave birth to Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds, who goes by “Taj.”
Smith is looking for full custody, child support and for Jordan to pay her son’s medical expenses. She also wants “Jordan” to be the boy’s legal last name.
It should be noted Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy at the time the child was allegedly conceived, but the two divorced in 2006. Additionally, Jordan is set to marry Yvette Prieto this April.
In December, “Taj” posted a video to YouTube announcing Jordan was, in fact, his father. In the video, the boy says he wants Jordan to be a bigger part of his life.
