CHICAGO (CBS) – A breakfast sandwich maker is among the hot items on-display at the 2013 International Home and Housewares Show at McCormick Place this weekend.

Mary Beth Brault details a new product from Hamilton Beach.

“This breakfast sandwich maker makes a hot sandwich in less than five minutes and it is a great price point, it is $29.99,” said Brault.

From cooking demos to cleaning demos an inventor from England hopes his light-weight cordless vacuum with an added feature will be a success. The “G-Tech Air Ram” displays calories burned.

“If you are a clean freak like me, you can clean the home and see how thin you get with it too,”the inventor said.

As more people turn to a healthy lifestyle, gardening aids are also big sellers.

“In front here, if you need to add water, it will start to blink a blue light,” said the demonstrator for Click N Gro.
