GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — John Danks gave up a run in two-plus innings in his first outing since May, Dewayne Wise hit a three-run homer and the Chicago White Sox beat the San Francisco Giants 6-2 on Monday.

Alexei Ramirez doubled in a run for the White Sox and Paul Konerko had an RBI.

Joaquin Arias homered in the second inning, one of two hits off Danks, who threw 27 of his 35 pitches for strikes.

Danks made only nine starts last season before undergoing season-ending surgery on his left shoulder Aug. 6.
