Report: Cubs Likely To Deal Marmol Before Opening Day

(CBS) According to a report, Carlos Marmol’s days in Chicago may be numbered.

ESPN’s Bruce Levine’s reports Marmol will “most likely” be dealt by Opening Day.

The Tigers are reportedly in the mix for Marmol, who is due $9.8 million in the final year of his contract.

If the Cubs decide to move Marmol, they’ll like replace him with Japanese pitcher Kyuji Fujikawa, acquired this offseason.
