(CBS) — The Blackhawks have recalled forward Jimmy Hayes from Rockford and assigned defenseman Steve Montador to the IceHogs, according to a team release.
Hayes has 22 goals and 17 assists for Rockford this season. In 31 games with the Blackhawks last season, Hayes had five goals and four assists. He also made two appearances in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the Hawks last season.
Montador has not appeared in a game for the Hawks this season. The 33 year-old had five goals and nine assists in 52 games for the Hawks last season.
