(CBS) The Bears on Thursday re-signed the first of their own players, bringing back defensive tackle Nate Collins on a one-year deal.
The Bears refused to initially sign Collins’ tender of $1.23 million, making the 25-year-old a free agent.
After taking three days to explore other options, Collins signed with the Bears for the minimum contract of $715,000.
