CHICAGO (CBS)

-- The cost of the funeral and burial of six-month-old Jonylah Watkins, who was shot to death this week, will be donated.

Slain Baby's Funeral Costs Donated

Leak and Sons Funeral Home will be paying for the cost of the funeral, said Spencer Leak Jr.

He says his father has already told the family of 6-month-old Jonylah Watkins.

"We have arranged for obituaries to be paid for, flowers to be paid for," said Leak Jr. "And I'm just hanging up with Oak Woods Cemetery at 67th and Woodlawn. They have agreed to donate a grave to the family as well."

Spencer Leak Jr. says someone associated with Bulls Guard Derrick Rose contacted the funeral home, offering to help pay for expenses.

But Leak says because everything is being donated, there's no need at this point for Rose to help.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Beginnings Church at 66th and King. The wake will be at 10 a.m.

New Beginnings is the church of Pastor Corey Brooks, who's been acting as a spokesman for the family.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Leak Funeral Home at 7838 South Cottage Grove.
